This week we continued to post more exclusive Gears of War 3 features, introduced Super Replay with one of the greatest games of all time, and made our best (and most ridiculous) guesses for who should be in the upcoming Mass Effect movie. It's time for the Week In Review!

Here were this week's top ten Game Informer exclusives:

  1. Super Replay: Link To The Past:
What's better than our regular weekly feature, Replay? Super Replay, of course! This five part series walks viewers through Zelda: A Link to the Past from beginning to end, with the help of Dan Ryckert and five rotating guest editors.
  2. Casting The Mass Effect Movie:
This week it was announced that Legendary Pictures picked up the rights to make a movie based on the Mass Effect series, and we couldn't help but put together a dream cast. My favorite pick? Worf as Wrex – Klingons are sorely underrepresented in American cinema...
  3. Making Of The Cover: Gears Of War 3:
This week Epic's art director Chris Perna explained all the hard work that went into making our June cover for Gears of War 3. The feature also includes an alternate cover that was pretty awesome-looking, too.
  4. The Gear Of Gears:
What good is a third-person shooter without a kick-ass arsenal? No good, and Epic Games knows it. That's why they've included a wide assortment of twisted and insane weapons you can use to eviscerate aliens with – not to mention your human multiplayer opponents.
  5. Shaun White Skateboarding Preview:
Skate 3 has been the reigning champion of the skateboarding genre, thanks to its only competition being the abysmal Tony Hawk Ride. But there's a new competitor headed toward the market, one with a fiery mane that would make Conan O'Brien blush. How does Shaun White stack up to the competition? Read our preview to find out.
  6. Shank Preview:
Fans of old-school beat-em-ups have a new reason to be happy: Shank takes the action-packed genre and injects a level of pretty usually reserved for a Vanillaware game. Phil's preview tells you what to expect.
  7. Show Me The Maps (And Guns!):
After a promising debut, Bad Company 2 has been slowly losing fans. In his latest blog post, Matt Bertz looks at the reasons why people are starting to lose interest in DICE's awesome shooter, and what the developer can do to win back fans.
  8. Blur vs. Split/Second:
There are two exciting new racers on the market, and Kato has played them both. Which one is better? That's what his new post is for!
  9. H.A.W.X. 2 Preview:
This week Meagan posted a new preview for H.A.W.X. 2. I like arcadey-flight-a-ma-things, so I'm looking forward to this game, despite the name being twice as stupid as its predecessor.
  10. DeathSpank Interview:
An RPG from the mind of Ron Gilbert is an enticing proposition, but I was sold on this game when I first heard the title – it's called DeathSpank, for crying out loud. If a ridiculous title isn't enough to pique your interest, perhaps our interview with the game's designer, Chris Mitchell, will win you over.
