Doom II And Voodoo Dice Hit XBLA This Wednesday

Xbox Live Arcade is getting two new games this Wednesday in the form of Doom II and Voodoo Dice. The latter will cost you 800 MS points, and is described as a puzzler with 60 single player levels, 20 multiplayer levels, and four competitive multiplayer modes (Race Mode, Flag Mode, Tactic Mode, and Arcade Mode). In these competitive modes, you'll be facing off against foes in races, capture the flag, turn-based rounds, and "destroy the most enemies" competitions. Its site promises multiple paths to victory and interactive environments during the single-player puzzles.

No word yet on whether or not you'll still face off against John Romero's head in Doom II, but we're hoping it retains the awesome multiplayer and co-op elements from the first game's XBLA port.
