CosBlog #45: Juri Han By Light Cosplay

by Meagan Marie on Feb 23, 2011 at 05:00 AM

This week French cosplayer Light steps into the colorful ensemble of Super Street Fighter IV’s Juri Han. Light made the entire outfit by hand out of lycra, faux leather, and cotton. The most difficult part of the look was easily the hair, but in the end she managed it masterfully. Check out her gallery below!

Who: The Character
Juri Han from Super Street Fighter IV

Why: The Decision
I very much love the Street Fighter games. When I saw Juri Han on the internet before the game was for sale, I immediately wanted to cosplay the character. She is beautiful, crazy, and devilish, and that is what I like in her.

What: The Process
I worked on the costume for about two months. I think this costume cost me around 150€. Yes, very expensive! I used lycra for 90% of the costume, faux leather, and the rest is in basic cotton (for the pant). The most difficult was the hair. Have you ever tried to make cones of hair?! It was crazy to do!!

Where and When: The Debut
I debuted this costume at the Japan Expo 2010 event in Paris, and during a photoshoot.
