New Gameplay Today – Rad

Double Fine's upcoming game Rad is a post-post-apocalyptic Roguelite set in a bizarre version of the 1980s, where kids rule and also get random mutations at an alarming rate. In today's NGT, Kyle takes us on a run and shows me and Leo what to expect.

He starts out with one mutation, bat wings, but also manages to get another during the course of the adventure. I won't spoil it, but it's basically a thing where his lower half becomes a scorpion and he can burrow underground and apparently I just kind of spoiled it there. Oh well! Did I mention that his character is wearing a Pac-Man shirt? There you go!

Rad is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on August 20.
