Since joining Game Informer in 2020, Alex Van Aken has traveled the world profiling video game developers and filming cover story features and documentaries about the craft of game design. He has previously collaborated with outlets like GameSpot, Giant Bomb, and Fandom and also produces Viewport, a gaming documentary series.
