I recently sat down with the 3DS entry in the series at TGS 2011,
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and can say I enjoyed my time
with the game despite my unfamiliarity.
After several minutes of flinging goblin henchmen at monsters and
mastering the Vita’s dual analog sticks, I’m happy to report this heavy
metal murderfest is a ton of fun.
The opening cinematic strikes me as one of the most gripping scenes in the franchise to date. It involves soldiers struggling through a war torn city, and a man and his chocobo’s final moments.
I recently got my hands on Sound Shapes for
the PlayStation Vita for the very first time, and it's ranking among my
top reasons to pick up the portable when it launches.
Today at Sony's pre-TGS 2011 press conference in Roppongo, Japan, the attending audience was treated to another close look at the PlayStation Vita. Now you can check it out, too.
