Sony today confirmed the release of the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy for
PlayStation 3. The collection contains "HD remasters" of the original
games from PlayStation 2.
Reports surfaced this morning saying developer Obsidian suffered layoffs
upwards of 30 people this week. In addition to staff reductions, the
studio also canceled an unannounced next-gen title.
EA said today that SEGA will begin offering its PC titles through its
digital store Origin. The first title being offered, Total War Shogun 2:
Fall of the Samurai, is now available for pre-order.
Earlier this morning numerous gamers found their Gamerscore and
achievement list were completely wiped without notice. Microsoft says
this is only temporary.

Sony provided an update on how well PlayStation Move is doing since release. During a panel at the Game Developers Conference this week, the company said it shipped 10.5 million units to date.
