The armed services using video games as training tools is nothing new,
but Navy Surgeon General Vice Admiral Adam M Robinson is considering a
different direction.
Nintendo has released a Japanese trailer for what
appears to be an upcoming DS remake of the third Fire Emblem game, which
originally appeared on Japan's 16-bit Super Famicom in 1994.
A single photo of what is likely a Nintendo 3DS development kit was
posted alongside a submission
to certify what seems to be the unit's wireless card with the Federal
Communications Commission.
Torchlight lead Travis Baldree noted
this morning in a forum post that he has "been planning to fiddle
around with the
Ogre3D iPhone SDK to see if an
iPad port is feasible."
When this free download launches later this summer, gamers (and The Sims
fans) will be able to create their own patterns and import them into
The Sims 3.
