Epic Games first unveiled Infinity Blade: Dungeons when Apple
announced its New iPad, but we still haven't heard any news about the
premiere mobile hack n' slasher's release date. And we shouldn't expect
to see the game before 2013.
Earlier today Warner Bros. announced that it would include the Mario cast in the Wii U version of Scribblenauts Unlimited. This isn't the first time that we've seen a video game mish mash. Here are some of my favorite video game crossovers.
Dancing like a fool without looking like a fool is hard, which is why
we usually dance alone at home. But you demand to know what the new
Dance Central plays like, and we have to deliver.
We believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. That is why Game Informer has teamed up with Extra Life to help give sick kids a fighting chance.
James Bond is sexy, sauvé, and always cool under fire. Women want to
be with him; men want to be him. Ian Fleming's classic spy has
enthralled readers and moviegoers for over half a century. The character
clearly works. So why are his games so broken?
Ubisoft's upcoming 3DS title lets you capture and collect over a
hundred Rabbids and then train them for battle. Wait! Don't leave. We also have a
trailer.
If you need a break from games, try reading a book...a comic book, of
course. However, most video game comics suck, so why not check out this
Splinter Cell comic before you buy it.
Music is an important part of any game, but in an artsy title like
The Unfinished Swan, sound design becomes monumental. How does a
designer hold up under the pressure? How, we ask you? Why would you even
know?
David Fincher has an impressive resume. The Hollywood director has worked on films like Fight Club, The Social Network, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Fincher can now add Halo commercial to his resume. But he probably doesn't need to.
Indie Game: The Movie did a good job exploring the highs and lows of
independent development, but if you're still craving more, check out
this feature from PBS's web series Off Book.
The Xbox Live Indie arcade is a shady place, but not nearly as shady
as a comedy club. You have to have guts to step in front of a crowd, but
we barely mustered up the courage to step onstage in Comedy Night.
It's late, the kids are in bed. Why not watch a really strange gaming
video? Maybe the kids aren't in bed. Let them watch too. Maybe you
don't have kids. Whatever your kid situation, watch this video...or
don't. You don't have to please us.
