Warner announced that a beta for Batman's shooter spinoff would be available sometime in December, and the company says that plan is still in place. They're not elaborating further on a date for the manic multiplayer-only game, but they are releasing a big dose of screens and an all-new trailer that shows things from the Bats gang's perspective.

As the trailer shows, Bats' loyal followers are taking a slightly modified approach to emulating their hero, making due with budget-constrained gadgets and forgoing the Caped Crusader's stance against lethal attacks. Look for the game on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on January 10.
