Gotham City Impostors
Gotham City Imposters definitely requires explanation, which is why a new trailer from Warner is so welcome. It doesn't show off any gameplay, but the clip sets up the battle between the vigilante gangs that align themselves with Batman and the Joker. More importantly, it conveys the game's anarchic, highly stylized presentation, which could be surprising for players now used to Arkham City's comparatively staid approach to the Batman universe.
In Gotham City Imposters, players pick between Bats and Jokerz factions, and battle one another in team matches set throughout the city. Gadgets are a big focus of the game, whether they're in the form of deadly traps or navigation aids. I got some hands-on time with the game during E3, and you can read my impressions here. Otherwise, check out the trailer below.
The multiplayer FPS will be available sometime in winter 2012 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $15/1,200 Microsoft Points.
