Final Fantasy XIII-2

Final Fantasy XIII's battle system was one of the game's high points, and it's making the transition to follow-up Final Fantasy XIII-2. If you haven't played its predecessor, this new video is a great way to get acclimated to the game's combat.

This clip, the first of several planned gameplay videos, demonstrates Final Fantasy XIII-2's Active Time Battle system, alongside the Paradigm Shift feature. Characters can quickly switch roles depending on the situation, which keeps things moving. Check it out below.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is due out on PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on January 31, 2012.
