Bravely Default
Nintendo 3DS RPG Bravely Default is getting a demo on January 2. It’s not your average trial though, as it includes a story not included in the main game. Additionally, data will transfer over to the full version when it is released on February 7.
We learned more about sleep points, an important mechanic in Bravely Default. For every consecutive eight hours your 3DS is asleep, you’ll earn one sleep point up to a maximum of three. These allow for mid-battle healing, revival, and powerful attacks. This is where the optional microtransactions come in. Players can purchase sleep point potions from the eShop, which restore all three points.
The demo is coming in just a couple of weeks, and players will be able to import some things to the full version. This includes item packs, up to 20 street passes, and any friends registered within the demo.
