Pokkén Tournament Deluxe Coming To Nintendo Switch

The highlight of this morning's Pokémon Direct stream was the announcement that Pokkén Tournament was heading over to the Nintendo Switch. The new version, Pokkén Tournament Deluxe, adds five new fighters to the game that weren't in its original Wii U release.
The Switch version expands the roster to include Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk, and Decidueye. The game also features 3 vs. 3 team battles, and ranked and group matches. It's coming to the Switch on Sept. 22.
Players who are attending E3 next week in Los Angeles will be able to play the new version of the game on the show floor. If you can't make it, the game is going to be featured during the Nintendo Treehouse Live stream, as well as in an invitational tournament on June 14. Players can watch that battle starting at 10:30 a.m. Pacific.
Our Take
Hopefully, these new fighters can elevate the experience from its fun, but forgettable original incarnation.
