Sonic Mania Special Edition Includes "Sega" Spewing Sonic Statue
Sonic is kicking it old-school in his upcoming game Sonic Mania, with 16-bit visuals and gameplay that's bound to be familiar to those of us who knew him back when. Sega's giving fans a chance to turn the nostalgia up all the way with a special edition of the game that includes a host of Genesis-inspired goodies – including a statue that shouts out something we've heard too many times to count.
You can preorder your copy of the collector's edition by visiting this link and then selecting your region and retailer. The bundle will set you back $69.99, and it includes a download key for the game (on a spiffy metal card), a 12" statue of Sonic standing on a Genesis (complete with "Sega" startup sound), a replica Genesis cart (with golden ring), and a collector's box (it is a box).
