Free Garden Warfare Update Adds New Characters, Tacos

EA and PopCap Games are releasing a free update to Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, which adds new playable characters, additional support characters, and – best of all – delicious tacos to the game.

The Legends of the Lawn update brings new characters, like a dino-bone-clad paleontologist zombie and a jade cactus, to the fight, along with more than 200 new customization options. It also adds the new Taco Bandits game mode. It's essentially capture the flag, only with the tasty food replacing the stale old banner. Zombies will have to trudge through heavily fortified defenses to wrest the three tacos from the leafy hands of the opposition. If you're a PlayStation 3 or 4 player, the update also includes the content from the update Suburbination. That download was released in August on other platforms before the game hit Sony's consoles.
