Plants Vs. Zombies 2: Needs More Time

Bad news for those hoping for more zombies, plants, and the co-mingling of the two. Plants vs. Zombies 2 has now been delayed.

According to the official Twitter account for the title, Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time will miss its July 18 launch date. 

Plants vs. Zombies 2, originally slated for a July 18th release, will now be released later in the summer. Stay tuned for more details.

Additionally, the Twitter account has stated that more time is required to "make sure it's up to our fans' standards." We last heard that Plants vs. Zombies 2 will be a free-to-play title, with in-app purchases used for power-ups. It will appear first on Apple devices.
