Tetris: Axis Coming In October With Augmented Reality
If you don't yet own a copy of Tetris for some inexplicable reason, Nintendo is ready to hook you up. The company announced today that it's publishing Hudson's game Tetris: Axis in North America. The puzzler is due out on October 2.
Tetris: Axis includes more than 20 different game types, including marathon, computer battle, fever, and survivor. There's also support for a variety of different party modes, so you don't have to be a lonely guy gamer to enjoy the game. The game supports up to eight players in download play and regular multiplayer. There are also a pair of augmented reality modes that use the 3DS' camera, including a marathon and tower climber game type.
While you may have played Tetris a million times before, odds are you haven't played it in 3D. Ta dah!
