Torchlight II Gets Fourth Class, Cheap Price Point
While loot whores around the world wait for Diablo III, indie dev Runic Games is moving forward with a very friendly price for its upcoming hack-n-slash sequel, Torchlight II.
Joystiq reports that Torchlight II -- which is still planned to launch this year -- will cost an affordable $20, the same price as the popular 2009 original. In addition to the price, Runic revealed the fourth and final class for the game: the Embermage. Details are light on how this class operates, but I'm imagining something to do with fire.
Considering how much we loved the original Torchlight and the major improvements promised in the sequel, this will be a no-brainer purchase for that price, even in the crowded late 2011 time frame.
