Super Mario Land 2 And Metroid 2 Coming To 3DS eShop This Year

On the 3DS eShop, Game Boy games have been coming as a pretty slow trickle thus far. We've received some classics like Donkey Kong and Link's Awakening, but it's missing a good deal of the Game Boy's heavy hitters. That will change by the end of the year, as two of its best games will be available for download.

According to the Official Nintendo Magazine UK, Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins and Metroid 2: The Return of Samus will be released on the eShop by the end of 2011. No set date has been announced yet.
