Top Cow Teams With Mandeville Films For Darkness Movie
At today’s 2K Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the video game publisher announced that Top Cow is working on a film adaptation of The Darkness comic/video game series.
Mandeville Films will be responsible for bringing the series to the silver screen, though no other information, such as a director, writers, or actors, have been announced. This isn’t the first time a movie has been planned for The Darkness. Dimension Films paid for the film rights back in 2004, but nothing came out of the deal. Hopefully the momentum of the video game, and the impending October 4 sequel, will propel the project into theaters.
