City Of Heroes Mutating Into Free-To-Play Model

After seven years of availability, the MMORPG City of Heroes is getting a new name and a free-to-play model. If you've been thinking about unleashing your inner superhero (or villain), you have one less excuse.

City of Heroes Freedom will continue to offer a paid option, in the form of a VIP membership. Heroes who pony up the cash can band together in super groups, access in-game mail, and access special VIP servers.
