Bon Jovi's Greatest Hits Headed To Rock Band In November

by Bryan Vore on Oct 08, 2010 at 09:47 AM

Are you ready to doooooownload in a blayyze of glorayyyyy? Twelve Bon Jovi tracks will be available on the Rock Band store near the launch of the Bon Jovi Greatest Hits album on November 9.

“Bon Jovi for us is one of our most requested artists. We’ve had a couple of songs on disc, but we’ve never done a vertical campaign like this with them," says MTV Games' Paul DeGooyer in a statement to MCV. "We are working with Bon Jovi on activity for the compilation and other elements that they haven’t announced yet.”

Harmonix also backed up the sentiment with a recent forum post:

"Yep, Bon Jovi will be returning as DLC post RB3 launch! Confirmed!

Don't expect a huge multi disc album release though, as the Surgeon General has determined that anything more than 12 tracks of Bon Jovi in a single pack could contain potentially dangerous levels of swoon when downloaded by women, and result in deadly amounts of "good hair envy" in men."

So now we know that the super 2-disc "Ultimate Collection" is out, let's focus on the single disc to see if we can trim it down to 12 songs. Here are all the tracks on the greatest hits album:

1. Livin' On a Prayer
2. You Give Love A Bad Name
3. It's My Life
4. Have A Nice Day
5. Wanted Dead Or Alive
6. Bad Medicine
7. We Weren't Born To Follow
8. I'll Be There For You
9. Born To Be My Baby
10. Blaze Of Glory
11. Who Says You Can't Go Home (Duet with Jennifer Nettles)
12. Lay Your Hands On Me
13. Always
14. Runaway
15. What Do You Got? (NEW)
16. No Apologies (NEW)

We'd be surprised if Harmonix didn't cut out the three songs that have already appeared on Rock Band discs including "Wanted Dead or Alive," "Livin' on a Prayer," and "You Give Love a Bad Name." That gets us down to 13 tracks. I'd have no problem losing one of the new songs. What do you think?
