Han Solo's Homeworld Revealed For The Old Republic
In BioWare's upcoming PC MMORPG, Corellia is a vital part of the Republic's infrastructure but recent events have cut off the official lines of communication between the bustling trade world and the Republic's capital, Coruscant. What could cause that to happen a developed planet in the heart of Republic space? This art, while cool, doesn't have the answer.
"Holo-video and images from Corellia show widespread destruction in Coronet city, and though an act of terrorism has not been ruled out, some fear the situation may be more serious," reads the official HoloNet entry for Corellia.
Before the troubles, Corellian capital Coronet City was renowned for being a thriving center of commerce -- with a seedy core of corruption under its law-abiding facade. The fiercely proud Corellians also foster a unique identity for their cultural center by maintaining wide swathes of parkland within the metropolis.
Anyone else ready for Star Wars: The Old Republic? We sure are, but fair warning: If you make a Corellian smuggler with an alien buddy and a certain rogueish charm, you can't be our friend.
