You've seen Left 4 Dead billboards in your town, conveying their simple, compelling message with a single zombified hand. What if Valve were stuck in the '80s instead, marketing Portal as an Apple ][ text adventure and L4D as an NES Zapper game? You guessed it: 'tude that Sonic would be proud of.

I promise you, these are definitely real and absolutely not new footage spliced between old commercials. That would be silly. Even if they were fake – which they are certainly not – they'd still be funny as hell, though.
