Chair's Next Game Is iPhone Unreal Engine Title Project Sword
UPDATE: We've downloaded the iPad version of the Epic Citadel app to check it out for ourselves. Check the post below for a few screens captures from our demo.
We've been excited to see what Chair Entertainment is doing next since Shadow Complex launched on Xbox Live Arcade last year and blew us away. As it turns out, their next game won't be a sequel nor even another console downloadable: They're making an iPhone/iPad game that uses the Unreal Engine 3.
Currently codenamed Project Sword, the game is (surprise) focused on swordfighting. Judging by the screenshot above, it may be more of a 1v1 fighting game, but details are short currently. We know that the game will support multiplayer and Achievements through Apple's new Game Center.
Want to see how the Unreal Engine runs on iPhone? According to a Twitter post by Epic's Cliff Bleszinski, you can now download the castle environment featured in the demo of Project Sword given at an Apple press conference earlier today. Check out Epic Citadel for yourself now or take a look at our screenshots below.
