Japanese Fallout Ad Tweaks JRPG Conventions

Tensions are already high between the East and West sides, but that’s not stopping Bethesda from getting involved in the battle. A new ad campaign from the publisher shows Japanese gamers picketing JRPG conventions such as stories that don’t change and an overdependence on cutscenes. As Andriasang reports, Bethesda says it has a solution? What would that be? Why, it’s Fallout: New Vegas.

Whew. For a moment there, we thought they were going to tell people in Japan to quit playing RPGs entirely and check out Rogue Warrior.
