Mega Man Universe Not Just A Game, But A Platform?

In a Comic-Con panel yesterday, Capcom's Keiji Inafune shed more light on the mysterious Mega Man Universe. Basically, Capcom sees it as more than just a game.

"We wanted to create a platform where players can play as their favorite version of Mega Man, another Capcom character -- or maybe a different character completely," Inafune said. "You'll be able to play as the Mega Man of your dreams."

As far as gameplay specifics go, we'll have to continue waiting before we learn more about the game. "We made the trailer purposely mysterious, because we wanted to play on the idea of what Mega Man is," Infune said.
