Nintendo Announces Mario Sports Mix for Wii

Mario has a long history in the sports genre, including such classic franchises as Mario Golf and Mario Tennis. Mario Sports Mix, slated to be released in 2011, is – as the title suggests – a multi-sports game that features all the familiar characters from the Nintendo universe like Mario, Luigi, and Bowser. During the Nintendo press conference, a brief video of the game was shown, including footage of the Mario gang playing hockey, basketball, volleyball, and dodgeball.
