Sega Announces New Virtual-On Title

Last week Sega unveiled a mysterious countdown website that brought upon much speculation. Turns out the mystery has been solved as we now know it's teasing a new Virtual-On game for Xbox 360 as revealed in Japanese magazine Famitsu.

Unlike the most recent entry in the franchise, Oratorio Tangram on XBLA, Virtual-On Force will be released on disk at your friendly neighborhood gaming retailer for Xbox 360. Along with a single-player mode, the game will feature Xbox LIVE online play and 2-on-2 "Leadership Org Battles." Sounds like there will also be four-player split screen online. For tricky boss battles a friend can join the fray for some co-op action. While this is all we know for now, we suspect there will be plenty of announcements come E3, which is just around the corner.
