Capcom Trademarks Mega Man Universe

Oh boy. A new Mega Man title may be on the horizon. I’m not talking Mega Man Battle Network 29 or a PSP remake of Mega Man Legends 2, either. The title trademarked by Capcom isn’t in line with any other existing Mega Man game.

Mega Man Universe may be the “surprise” Capcom’s community manager, Seth Killian, has hinted at. I wish we had more to go on than a title, but we’re going to have to make do with it for now.

Mega Man Universe. Just take a moment to chew on that one...

Could this be another collection of sorts? An MMO? Perhaps an educational title in which Mega teaches us the scientific properties of the galaxy?
