DSi XL Dated For Europe

Nintendo officially dated the Nintendo DSi XL for Europe today, announcing that the uber-sized handheld will launch throughout the continent on March 5 in wine red and dark brown. We’ve contacted Nintendo to check up on the North American release date, but as of now the window remains as “first quarter 2010.”

Once again our friends over the pond are getting a shiny new Nintendo product before us. Hopefully the North American release comes to fruition on time, as opposed to the indefinite purgatory the black Nintendo Wii console is stuck in.
