First Assassin’s Creed Lineage Short Launches

Ubisoft just released the first Assassin’s Creed: Lineage short film, which will culminate in three episodes leading to the release of the anticipated sequel. The story follows Giovanni Auditore da Firenze, the father of main protagonist Ezio, and sets the stage for the struggle of power central to the plot of Assassin's Creed II.

We teased you with a trailer last week, but now you can watch the flick in its entirety below. We’re impressed with the blend of CG and live-action work, complements of Hybride/Ubisoft Digital Arts, and give props for the collaboration. This is the type of promotional work we can fully get behind. We’ll keep you updated as to when the next installment is slated to hit.
