Resistance 3 has a deadly new melee weapon. It’s called the
Sledgehammer, and Insomniac has been showing of its new toy all week at
Gamescom. Now it’s your turn to see this hammers destructive power in
action.

The developers sat down
with me to play through the first 30 minutes of the game complete with
their commentary.

coming back to the solid formula of the first game.

One of the stories of E3 was the introduction of Insomniac's new
Overstrike game for EA, but that doesn't mean PS3-exclusive Resistance 3
wasn't also newsworthy.

I finally had a chance to play through the arduous boat sequence, go a
few rounds in a new multiplayer map, and sneak a peek at a new weapon,
level, and a couple new foes at Sony’s press event in Hollywood
