Not surprisingly, Driveclub developer Day 1 Digital is in love with the PlayStation 4. In this new trailer, the game's leads detail how the console's power enables them to create next-gen features and visuals for the racer.

At long last, Driveclub is arriving next week, but you can hear from the team now.

The game's come a long way, and we're about to see if it's been worth it.

Evolution Studios' PlayStation 4 exclusive racer DriveClub
hits the road on October 8, and today we've learned it's towing a
lengthy trail of DLC behind it.

During a hands-off demo, Evolution Studios showed off how big of an impact DriveClub's advanced weather simulation has on racing.

From nitty gritty info about clubs to the damage model, we find out all sorts of new details about the game.

Driveclub is looking good right now, but we've still got months before it hits retail.

Take a tour of DriveClub's Salar de Surire track as the sun sets in
an Audi R8 V10 Plus. It's the most romantic way to race.

These videos were taken from DriveClub's Gamescom 2013 demo. Now, those
of us who couldn't fly all the way to Germany can see it for ourselves.

With Gran Turismo 6 not appearing on the PlayStation 4, it will be interesting to see how not-so-sim racer Driveclub fares as the system's racing standard bearer.
