Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City

The Ninja Turtles are no strangers to video games and are not committed to any one genre. They’ve been in plenty of beat ‘em ups, guested in and even had their own fighting games, and participated in rogue and tactics games, but Empire City offers a new virtual reality perspective for the mutant brothers.

The action game lets you embody the turtle of your choice. I had the chance to try them all. Leonardo swings his dual swords, Raphael uses his sai, Donatello has his staff, and Michelangelo has his nunchucks. Leo, Raph, and Donnie’s combat will be familiar to anyone who has played a melee VR game, but swinging Mikey’s nunhucks (which also effectively charges them up) felt unique in VR.
