Mega Man: Dual Override

Mega Man turns 40 years old next year, and Capcom is celebrating the Blue Bomber’s birthday by releasing his long-awaited 12th mainline entry. What was reasonably expected to be called Mega Man 12 is titled Mega Man: Dual Override, and it looks to be a welcome and nostalgic comeback for long-time fans.

A debut trailer revealed during The Game Awards in December set the stage in tantalizing fashion with a long shot of a high-tech corridor adorned with panels displaying different years, counting from 1987 to 2018 – the launch years for each primary Mega Man game. A vault door at the end of the hallway opens, and Mega Man awakens, both literally and metaphorically, from his near-decade-long hiatus.
