Invincible VS

I imagined a game based on Invincible, Robert Kirkman’s acclaimed comic/animated series, in more story-driven single-player form, but a fighting game is low-key brilliant. This universe features numerous cool characters boasting awesome abilities, and the often-brutal battles are both exciting and borderline uncomfortable to watch. This description sounds a lot like Mortal Kombat, and I’m hopeful Invincible Vs. can reach the lofty heights of its R-rated contemporary.

I’m a big fan of the animated show and of fighting games in general, so controlling a roster that includes Invincible himself, Mark Grayson, along with Omni-Man, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Cecil Stedman, Monster Girl, and several more in 3v3 tag team battles sounds incredible. Developer Quarter Up also revealed a new character developed specifically for this game named Ella Mental, a powerful hero who can command earth, wind, fire, and water (voiced by rapper Tierra Whack).
