Hello Sunshine

In the tradition of video games like Portal, Fallout, and the recent Outer Worlds, Hello Sunshine explores a world grappling with the negative effects of corporate greed, presented to players with a wholly fake but smiling and supportive face. In Hello Sunshine, you (and a friend in co-op play) are the final employee of a company that potentially destroyed the world, dooming it to become a desert wasteland populated by gigantic bipedal robots created to fight a war and no longer have a purpose. Your goal is to survive and reach an imposing tower, which will let you decide the fate of the world.

To reach that goal, you must make your way across the blistering hot sand dunes during the day and survive the freezing cold at night. To do this, you join forces with one of the gigantic war machines as it trudges forward. During the day, the robot creates ample shade for you to stay out of the sun as it marches. You leave its protective shade to gather resources and water, but you can’t stay out of the shade too long, so it’s a constant race against time. The robot stops to recharge at night, and you stay near it for warmth and to craft new items, perform repairs, and rest.
