The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Blood of Dawnwalker might be the debut game from newcomer studio Rebel Wolves, but given what I’ve seen of the game publicly and behind closed doors, coupled with this studio being formed by former CD Projekt Red developers, I’m confident they’re cooking up something special. At first glance, it looks like The Witcher with vampires, but that’s a surface-level read.

The Blood of Dawnwalker takes place in the valley of the Carpathian Mountains during the 14th Century. A plague has swept the land, weakening humanity and making them easy targets for the Vrakhiri vampires. You, however, play as Coen, a dawnwalker who becomes a vampire at night, with unique abilities to boot, like climbing walls and short-distance teleportation, but reverts to a human during the day. Rest assured, Coen is still a capable protagonist during the day because when he’s not a vampire, he can use an assortment of magic. He’ll need to utilize both of his forms to rescue his family from vampires within 30 days.
