The Duskbloods

Some look at From Software’s The Duskbloods as the Switch 2 getting its own Bloodborne. Like the PS4 classic, the acclaimed developer’s next original game will be exclusive to one platform, and it’s riding the wave of momentum of Elden Ring to boot. As a big fan of From Software, I’m excited for The Duskbloods, even if its focus on PvPvE multiplayer isn’t quite what I expected or hoped for.

The Duskbloods centers on the Bloodsworn, a group of superhuman warriors with vampire-like abilities. With humanity nearing its end, the Bloodsworn compete in an event called the Twilight of Humanity to obtain something called First Blood. That premise might make sense eventually, but I’m less concerned with the plot and more with how battling in-game enemies and human-controlled adversaries will stack up.
