EA Sports FC 26
In its third year using the “EA Sports FC” name, the franchise formerly known as FIFA used its year between releases to implement fan requests and address player feedback. The result is a game that gets back to the basics of the sport it recreates, while iterating and adding to the overall package in meaningful ways.
As developer EA Vancouver sifted through the feedback from its player base, a few core gameplay areas emerged as places to address. In EA Sports FC 26, players are now more agile both on and off the ball, and when they take shots or attempt passes, the experience is more responsive. Meanwhile goalkeepers are more competent and reliable, and defenders are better at maintaining control when intercepting a ball. But don’t worry, because offensive players are not only better at first touches and receiving the ball, but can better protect from physical defense.
