Dear Me, I Was is a coming-of-age story about a young woman told without dialogue or text, featuring the art of Taisuke Kanasaki, who worked on games like Hotel Dusk and Trace Memory. It uses rotoscoped animation, which, when coupled with Kanasaki’s art, looks great in motion. Just seeing footage of the game is moving as you watch the protagonist grow up and build relationships. – Kyle Hilliard
