Future Nintendo And Switch 2 News Will Arrive Via New Nintendo Today App

Nintendo finished out its Direct presentation today with an increasingly rare appearance from Mario and Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto to share details about a new app. The Nintendo Today app, which is available immediately, will offer daily updates from Nintendo. You can find more details here.

Footage of the app showed it has calendar-like functions with Nintendo franchises and characters making appearances. Miyamoto did not go into extended details, but did say that everyone with a Nintendo account can use the app, implying that you will need to sign in, but may not necessarily need to be a paying Nintendo Online member.

Nintendo will be sharing more details about Switch 2 via the Nintendo Today app, and other channels, on April 2.
