Final Fantasy VII Revelation Spotlights Its Weapon Battles In New Trailer

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is the big conclusion to Square Enix's FF VII remake trilogy, and the finale doesn't seem to be holding back any punches. At Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 tonight, we got a longer glimpse at some of the Weapon fights waiting for Cloud and the gang in Revelation.

Director Naoki Hamaguchi took the stage to introduce the trailer, which put a light on the Ruby, Emerald, and Ultima Weapons.

The battles look impressive, and we won't be waiting long to see them get underway. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is aiming for a Spring 2027 launch, arriving simultaneously on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
