Windward

Tasharen Entertainment’s randomly generated, open-world sailing game is making its way out of Early Access on May 12, and there’s a new trailer to go along with the announcement.

If Windward looks familiar, it’s because it shares a lot in common with the Sid Meir’s classic, Pirates. Don’t expect to find a lot of political maneuvering in Windward, though, as it’s focus is on combat in much the same way as Assassin’s Creed IV. Like Black Flag, players take part in fast-paced battles of supremacy, upgrading their ship along the way. Check out the trailer below to see Windward in action:
