Wasteland 2
Developer inXile Entertainment has announced an official release date for Wasteland 2: Director's Cut. On October 13, 2015, the game will launch in North America.
Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, originally known as Wasteland 2: Game Of The Year Edition, features overhauled graphics, additional voice acting, new character models, modified lighting, and more. From a gameplay standpoint, inExile Entertainment has created two new mechanics: "Precision Strike" and "Perk & Traits."
These systems come in addition to improved combat encounters and revamped cut scenes. This definitive version of Wasteland 2 is headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and inXile Entertainment has optimized the control scheme and UI for consoles.
We reviewed Wasteland 2 when it first arrived on PC in 2014. The strategy title combines a complex and reactive story with turn-based tactical combat.
Wasteland 2: Director's Cut launches for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 13. For those gamers who own Wasteland 2 on PC, don't worry: you'll be receiving these updates for free.
