Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr
While Space Marines get all the attention in most Warhammer 40K games, Neocore Games is looking to give another faction of Imperial servants their due. The upcoming Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor Martyr focuses on (as you might have suspected), members of the Inquisition.
Unlike Space Marines, which are the Emperor’s fist among the stars, Inquisitors are the investigators. They are the detectives, wielding Imperial authority to commandeer, detain, and eliminate Xenos and Chaos threats.
When an Imperial world is deemed to corrupted, it is the Inquisitors who order an “Exterminatus,” wiping all life from the surface. And in Inquisitor Martyr, you will play one of these secretive agents.

The first gameplay trailer shows off how Neocore is applying destructible terrain to the action-RPG format. We had the chance to check this out with a bit of hands-on time at Gamescom.
At that time, we were told that Inquisitor will have a single-player campaign and a separate cooperative, persistent multiplayer mode. Players will work together to protect the sector from alien and Chaos incursion.
Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr will be out this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
