Uncharted: Golden Abyss

Ever wonder what a motion-capture session looks like? Or how goofy Nolan North looks when he's waving around a neon stick while wearing spandex? Have we got the video for you.

The video below is taken from a chapter of Uncharted: Golden Abyss entitled "Without a Paddle," which appropriately features Drake and Sully taking a canoe for a spin. For voice actors Nolan North and Richard McGonagle, that means sitting on a pile of blocks on a motion-capture stage. While the drama of the scene is lost due to the realities of the motion-capture process, it's still an interesting glimpse at how video games are made, and bodes well for the production values of Golden Abyss.
