Transformers: Devastation Gameplay Is A Gee-Wonder To Behold

At E3, we got our first look at Transformers: Devastation, the upcoming Generation 1-inspired title from Platinum Games. Today, we get another high-flying, triple-changing, plasma-axing look at the title.

Platinum is working hard to nail the look of the original 1980s cartoon, and the presence of both Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and Frank Welker (Megatron) certainly helps sell it. The battles look frantic and flashy, amounting to pretty much everything we ever wanted in a Transformers game as we played on the floor in our rooms making the iconic sound with our mouths.

Transformers: Devastation is planned for release on October 6 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more, check out our extensive hands-on preview.
